(b) Problem 5.7

(c) Problem 5.8

(d) Problem 5.19

(e) Problem 5.20

(f ) Problem 5.25

In all problems where you are asked to derive the equations of motion, I would like to see the solution with both the direct method (Newton's second law) as well as the variational method. In addition, for all problems where you are asked for the equations of motion, I would like you to also derive their linearized form for small motions around each static configuration.
